The Nomadic Museum

The Nomadic Museum is the permanent travelling home of Gregory Colbert’s Ashes and Snow. Gregory Colbert originally conceived of the idea for a sustainable travelling museum in 1999. The most recent Nomadic Museum, at the Zócalo in Mexico City, was designed by Colombian architect Simón Vélez. It was the largest bamboo structure in history.
